He used the shamrock, which was a name for a common clover in Ireland to illustrate the doctrine of the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy spirit, could all exist as separate elements of the same entity.
The shamrock has three leaves representing each. It has been a good-luck symbol ever since for having good fortune.
There have been a lot of celebrating mixed with truth and folklore, such as the Leprechaun. He is an Irish fairy about two feet tall and looks like an old man who wears a crooked hat and a leather apron. He is dressed like a shoemaker and is very unfriendly. He lives alone and passes the time making shoes. He possess a pot of gold.

All who visit Ireland want to kiss the Blarney Stone. This stone is set in the w’all of the Blarney Castle tower in the Irish village of Blarney. The castle was built in 1446 by Chormar Laidhiv McCarthy.
Its wall is 18 feet thick and is hard to reach as it is between the main castle wall and a wall (parapet) for screening troops
