Mr. Harman said that 5.000 students competed for the organization’s scholarships this year, and that David Massie was one of 132 students to be awarded one or more of the 176 scholarships offered. David won not only one of the regular scholarships, but the top prize as well-a first place gold-in the Herman Bruce Scholarship program. That makes David Massie, said Mr. Harman, the number one student in the competition in. the State. “If our future is in hands like this man’s.” Mr. Harman concluded, “were in good shape.”
