Land Use deadline
Any taxpayer who is currently in or wishes to enroll in the Land Use program and has not completed a new application for the 2003 tax year must make an appointment in order to remain in the program. For information call the Commissioner of Revenue's Office between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., 675-5370.
Quarterly meeting
planned for Society
The quarterly meeting of the Rappahannock Historical Society will be held on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Rappahannock County Library.
Speakers will be Jim Gannon and Arthur Candenquist. The topic will be Rappahannock men in the Civil War.
Both Mr. Gannon and Mr. Candenquist are noted local historians and it should be a fun and informative meeting. For information call the Historical Society Office at 675-1163.
