The event sponsor, For the Love of Animals, has arranged a silent auction as well as a live auction of local artists’ work, and will include the winning pieces done by the students.
Judging the students’ work was very hard, as there is a lot of talent.
One winner from each grade was chosen. The evening sounds like a lot of fun, and Lower School Dean, Rachel Bechtold, will be the auctioneer.
Ms. Bechtold acted as auctioneer at the annual Spring Auction last year, and she was so funny and slick that most of us spent far more than we’d planned due to laughter! (There’s nothing like bidding against the auctioneer for a flamingo lamp... She won, by the way!)
