purchases. The children will then be driven to K-Mart in Front Royal, where they can purchase $100 worth of merchandise for themselves or their families.
Once the shopping is completed, the children will have an opportunity to eat breakfast with the officers and visit with Santa Claus. While the children eat breakfast volunteers wrap the presents the children selected. The children return to the Sheriff’s Office after breakfast to receive their wrapped presents and food basket for each family.
Last year several officers from Front Royal participated and observed our program. Their Fraternal Order of Police plans to start their own program, which will be similar to ours. Your good will is contagious!
