In a musical tribute to the late Charlie Byrd, the Joe Byrd Quintet will appear at the Theatre at Washington, Va., on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 8 p.m. The concert is titled “Brazilian Nights.”
The Brazilian melodies which will be played at the Theatre are those which have become well known in this country during the last 40 years through the concerts and recordings of Charlie Byrd, along with his brother Joe and others.

Day at Gray Ghost
Join Gray Ghost for a Civil war Author’s Day on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Renowned authors will be on hand to sign, discuss and sell their books at the winery.
Admission is free, authors accept cash of check for their books. This is a great opportunity to shop for the Civil War buffs and wine lovers alike. Gray Ghost wines will also be available for complimentary tasting.
