This fall the band went to Woodstock to watch field competitions and participated in their 250th celebration parade.
They also went to the MCI Center in Washington, D.C. to watch a performance entitled “Spirit of America" Two students would like to relate the following accounts of these events.

Sept. 28, 2002 was a huge celebration of 250 years of the great town of Woodstock.
The Rappahannock County High School Band traveled there and their presence was known.
The parade wasn’t the only event we enjoyed, we watched a field show.
