UiUUV U1U11J vuuipn cated maneuvers seem easy. They incorporated many tosses even over the top of their heads.
In one maneuver they threw their rifles, which are bayonet-tipped 1903 Springfield rifles, backwards while the rifles do two revolutions and the back row catches them (with two rows between them).
What I eiyoyed the most about the Old Guard Drum and Fife Corps was their march style when they did a high step with a kind of glide toe point step march.
The finale was excellent, opening with the joining together of all the bands, then flags from all the states joining in, and finally all the cast members coming out surrounding the bands and flags.
Overall, I liked the performance and thought it was a big success.

Christmas parade
The band will be marching one last time this year, in Front Royal’s Christmas parade on Dec. 7.
The parade begins at 3 p.m.
This will be the first time Rappahannock has participated in this parade!
We hope you can come out and watch. Let’s also hope they have good weather for this parade!
Next meeting
The next Band Boosters meeting will be Dec. 3 at 5 p.m. the RCHS band room.
