Miss Sara Hathaway of Sperryville and a junior at Rappahannock County High School has been selected to attend the National Young Leaders Conference (NYLC) from Nov. 19 to Nov. 24 in Washington, D.C.

NYLC is a unique leadership development program for high school students who have demonstrated leadership potential and scholastic merit. Miss Hathaway will be among 400 outstanding students from around the country to attend the conference.

The theme of NYLC is "The Leaders of Tomorrow Meeting the Leaders of Today". Throughout the sixday conference, Miss Hathaway will interact with key leaders and news makers from the three branches of government, the media and the international community.
