nior Center Assistan Senior Center, Cascades M Loudoun County Government Position available with the Senior Center at Cascades in Sterling, VA, to assist in the daily operations of the Senior Center. Plans, coordinates, implements and evaluates programs, classes, special events and trips for active seniors. Weekly schedule varies and includes weekday evening, and weekend hours. Successful candidate must possess strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills. Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to AAS degree with courses in recreation, education or related field and at least two years related work experience. Previous activity/ programming experience with senior population preferred. This position requires a CDL. The incumbent of this position must comply with the Alcohol and Controlled Substance Testing Program as outlined by Loudoun County’s Alcohol and Controlled Substance Testing Policy for Transportation Employees. Valid driver’s license required. Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and DMV record check are required. Commercial Driver’s License must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
