• As the weather becomes cooler, our thoughts must turn to Weather Alerts/School Delays and Closings. As we did last year, WCDS will abide by the school closings and delays dictated by Warren County Public Schools.
Many of the buses and vans at Wakefield travel through Warren County, so if Warren County closes for the day, so will WCDS.
However, once students are in school, Mr. Michael Vargo, headmaster at WCDS, will make any decisions concerning early closings due to weather.
As everyone in Rappahannock knows, the weather in Front Royal is not necessarily the same weather we’re experiencing in Rappahannock County!
Families of Wakefield have been instructed to listen for Warren County’s decisions on local radio stations.
• Have a great week, and stick a note in the mail to someone who needs some personal mail. Bills and advertisements is just not the same thing.
