War II. He was employed for 15 years as a detective for the Richmond Fredericksburg and Potomac Railroad.
He also worked as a warehouse manger for 15 years at Globe Distributing. Mr. Dellinger was a member and helped build Wilton Woods Baptist Church in Alexandria.
He was also an active member of the Rappahannock Lions Club and a lifetime member of the Sperryville V.F.W. Post #1150.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille V. Dellinger of Castleton and two children, Steve Dellinger and his wife, Rita Ann of Culpeper and Gail L. Shaffer of Mechanicsville.
Additional survivors include four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren, Cody, Ashley, Christina, Lindsey, Emily, Matthew and Annette.
