An open space easement of 180 acres along the Rappahannock River outside of Flint Hill was finalized two weeks ago. Tyson Van Auken, Director of the Virginia Outdoors Foundation, was in attendance as Clerk Diane Bruce recorded the easement deed donated by Hope D. Anderson and Bob Dennis.

Installed as new members of the Culpeper Minutemen Chapter DAR earlier this month were Mrs. M.F. Biddle and Mrs. Dale Metzinger, both of Sperryville. They were sponsored by Mrs. C.E. Johnson Jr. and Mrs. Charles H. Estes, also of Sperryville.

On Nov. 20 Washington Baptist Church will conduct a special worship service at which time the pastor, David M. Moore, will be ordained into the ministry.

Realtor Eileen Day was offering 16 wooded acres near Old Rag and the Park which featured orchards, bam and timber with beautiful views for only $20,000. Also available was a small cabin nestled among the pines on five acres near the Park for $22,000.
