for Nov. 21
Rappahannock County High School is beginning a new program of student internships thanks to the financial assistance of Headwaters, tiie county Educational Foundation.
A community forum entitled, Student Internships—Opportunities for Students and the Community will be held on Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Library. Parents, students, business leaders and community members are encouraged to attend and leam about this exciting partnership. Panelists will include Mr. Roger Mello, Mr. Mick Strand, Ms. Mary Arthur and Mr. Richard Smith.
School Counselors, Mrs. Danni Pond and Mr. Jason Gochenour will be assisting interested students and parents.

The Rappahannock County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) will meet Monday, Nov. 25 at 10 a.m. in the Rappahannock Courthouse. Interested residents are invited to attend.
Discussed will be proposed changes to the Emergency Operations Plan. All are reminded that information on emergency planning, Material Safety Data Sheets and the County Emergency Operations Plan is available at the Office of the Emergency Management in the Magistrate's Office next to the Sheriff’s Office.
