2002 Rappahannock County tax bills have been mailed and must be paid on or before Dec. 5, 2002 to avoid a penalty. Failure to receive a bill through the mail does not relieve the taxpayer of any additional charges that will accure under law for failure to pay by the deadline.

Day at Gray Ghost

Join Gray Ghost for a Civil war Author’s Day on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 1t a.m. to 5 p.m. Renowned authors will be on hand to sign, discuss and sell their books at the winery.

Admission is free, authors accept cash or check for their books. This is a great opportunity to shop for the Civil War buffs and wine lovers alike. Gray Ghost wines will also be available for complimentary tasting.

Rappahannock crafters are invited to offer their merchandise at the Luray Rescue Squad Christmas bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The bazaar will be held at the Rescue building and all benefits will go directly to the squad.
