The Culpeper Cable Commission is recruiting for a full-time, permanent Program Director/Station Manager for its local cable TV (Channel 21) Station (government and education access channel). Person will oversee all aspects of managing the cable station through a subordinate staff of employees or contractors. Person must have a through knowledge and understanding of broadcast operations, communication, and sales and marketing. As there will be constant communications with County, Town, School and Hospital officials, as well as leaders of community organizations, there must be demonstrated communication skills and sound judgement. Since the person will be responsible for obtaining sponsors for programs, it is desirable that the applicant be familiar with Culpeper. The person will receive general guidance, and be hired by the Cable Commission but will be considered an employee of the Town of Culpeper, with excellent benefits to include retirement, health and life insurance. Salary range is $41,511,- $61,615 depending on years and quality of experience. The hours will include some evening and weekend work. Application forms are available in the
