Society sets
performances
The Front Royal Oratorio Society, directed by George T. Amos, Judy Connelly accompanist, is pleased to announce that its winter concerts will be productions of G.F. Handel’s Messiah, Part I and selections from Parts II and III. The chorus of over 60 singers, representing six surrounding counties, will be joined by soloists and orchestral and harpsichord accompaniment.
The performances will be Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m. at Braddock Street United Methodist Church, Winchester and Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m. at Riverton United Methodist Church in Front Royal. There is no admission charge. A free-will offering will be accepted during intermission. For more information call 622-6974.
