The Reva Volunteer Fire and Rescue will be having their Thanksgiving dinner this Sunday, Nov. 24 The menu consists of turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, spiced apples, ham, sweet potatoes, green beans, corn, pudding, bread, dessert and beverages.

The cost for the meal is $10 with senior citizens rate of $8.50. For a great meal don’t miss this one.

For all ladies who shy away from baking, the Girl Scout Brownie Troop 871 will be having a bake sale at Culpeper’s Wal-Mart this Saturday, Nov. 23 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Congratulations to area students at Rappahannock Elementary School who for the first grading period made the honor roll: Jacob Heflin, Hannah Gall, Rachel and Sarah Switzer, Jonathan Bulter and Krystal Heflin.

When the Rappahannock High School Honor Roll was published the name of Christopher Frazier, a junior, was left out. We regret the error.

The 1952 graduating class of Culpeper High School met for their 50th reunion on Oct. 18 at the Culpeper Holiday Inn. Included in the group is one of Boston’s native sons; namely R. E. Deane, who now lives in Culpeper. The late Agnes Frazier McGowan, sister of this writer was also a member of that graduating class. Mrs. Virginia Lewis Dalton of Stone House Mountain Road, also a teacher of many of these students was in attendance. We can’t recall how many were in the class, but thirty were in attendance. Mrs. Mary Frazier Caroon, formerly of Griffinsburg and a member of the class was present also.

The ' Windmore Foundation for Arts Theater production “Steel Magnolias” will take place Nov. 15, 16, 22, and 23 at the Culpeper Middle School beginning at 8 p.m. Then on Nov. 17 and 24 the production will take
