The merchants on Sperryville’s historic Main Street are planning a Blue Ridge Christmas Celebration Nov. 29 through Dec. 1 featuring the art, handmade crafts, and one-of-a-kind gifts that Rappahannock County is famous for.

Long View Gallery will be hosting an exhibition of photographs from Wild at Heart, a new book by local resident and renowned National Geographic photographer, Chris Johns.
There will a reception and book signing on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 4 to 7 pm. Martin and Cheri Woodard of Long View Gallery invite everyone to come to the reception, meet Chris Johns and enjoy their tasty hors d’oeuvres and refreshments.
On Sunday everyone is invited to “coffee and conversation” with Mr. Johns at the gallery from 11 a m. to 1 p.m. This is another opportunity to talk with Mr. Johns about photography, Africa, and conversation.
