Landfill & Flatwood Holiday Closings
The Rappahannock County Sanitary landfill will be closed to the public all day on Thanksgiving Day and at 12:00 Noon on Christmas Eve. The Flatwood Refuse & Recycling Center will be closed on Christmas Day. In addition, the facility will not open until noon on New Year’s Day. All other days during the holiday season will have normal hours of operation. Landfill: Monday & Thursday 7:30-3:30. Tuesday, Friday & Saturday 7:30-7:30; closed Wednesday & Sunday Flatwood: Wednesday & Thursday 7:00-7:00, Friday-Sunday 9:00-7:00
