Officers of the S.C.A. of Washington Elementary School at the installation ceremony last Wednesday included Milton Gore, President; Marsha Powers, Vice-president; Page Moffett, Secretary and Barry Jolliffe, Treasurer.
On Nov. 21, a group of Rappahannock County High School juniors and seniors, accompanied by Mrs. Glenna Bennett and C.B. Palmer, participated in the College Day program at the Warren County High School.
Representatives from fifteen colleges, business schools, schools of nursing and armed forces talked with the students individually concerning plans for the future.
The Rappahannock students each had an opportunity to hear and record a lesson in French or Spanish.
Elder and Mrs. J. Harvey Daily were honored with a dinner Nov. 22 in honor of their 57th wedding anniversary at the home of Mr. and Mr.s J.M. Durden in Sperryville. Elder Daily has been a prominent minister of the Primitive Baptists for over 60 years and is currently serving the Thornton Gap Primitive Baptist Church.

The Mount Salem Baptist Church near Washington which has undergone extensive restoration in the past year will be rededicated at an afternoon service on Sunday, Nov. 27.
Dave Konick, Washington’s newest attorney, has joined the legions of admirers who have fallen in love with the county’s mountain skyline and decided to make Rappahannock a permanent home.
