Department of Historic Resources in an attempt to prevent Sprint from erecting cellphone towers in the county, most especially the one at the Amissville firehouse.
Apparently this tower will ruin the “viewshed” from his living room window. Why didn’t he make his opposition known at the time Sprint was applying for a permit to erect cellphone towers in Rappahannock? Was it because original cellphone tower site was out of his “viewshed”? Then when the Amissville Fire Company insisted that a Sprint tower be erected at the Amissville firehouse, instead of the original location west of Amissville, it then affected him personally?
Can anyone tell me where the “Historic District” is in Amissville or what is so “Historic” about Amissville? My family has resided in the Amissville area since the 1700’s and I have never heard anyone in my family or family friends or anyone mention any “Historic District”, historic structures, or “historic” anything related to
