The Senior class at Rappahannock County High School will be having the Alumni Basketball Tournament for men and women on Friday, Nov. 29 and Saturday, Nov. 30.
The cost to play is $15 per person. For more information and/or to register call Kelly Settle at 987-8575. Games will begin at 6:30 both evening. Admission is $3.
New traffic
signals in place
Beginning this week, motorists traveling on US 211 should be prepared to stop as they approach the road’s intersection with Route 229 in northern Culpeper County.
Newly installed traffic signals will soon be in full operation to facilitate access to and from Route 229 at the heavily traveled intersection at Clevenger's Comer.
In preparation for this change in traffic patterns, crews from the Virginia Department of Transportation have activated the flashing signal portion of the installation. New “Signal ahead” signs and temporary message boards will also be posted to remind motorist of the new pattern.
