The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League will host the first “Strutt” Your Mutt dog walk-a-thon on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (rain or shine) at the Sunnyside Farms Harvest Moon Festival in Sperryville.
Participants will not only help the homeless animals of Rappahannock County by collecting pledge money, but can win gre&t prizes too.
The three participants who collect the most money in donations will be the top prize winners. First place wins cash and prizes worth $250, second place wins cash and prizes worth $100, and third place wins cash and prizes worth $50.
Collect at least $30 in pledges and win a t-shirt. Bonus prizes will be awarded during each walk and every participant will receive a doggie bag full of goodies.
