We are pleased to welcome Steven G. Sutton, MD, to the practice of adult and pediatric urology in our region. Dr. Sutton is board-certified and will join Drs. David Pfefferand Thomas Mitchell of Urological Associates of the Piedmont in their Culpeper office.
Dr. Sutton receiv ed his medical degree at E*tst Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, NC. He completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. During his career in the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Sutton received numerous decorations and was stationed in many locations, including Southwest Asia, in support of Operation Desert Storm. His most recent assignment was at Lundstuhl Regional Medical Center. Germany, as the urologic consultant to the Surgeon General. He received the Department of Defense Meritorious Service Medal for his role in treating casualties from Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
Dr. Sutton specializes in the treatment of diseases and conditions of the urinary tract, including chronic infection, incontinence, prostate enlargement, kidney stones, and erectile dysfunction'
