in Rappahannock
Allegations against Edwards first surfaced when a teen-aged girl confided in Kathleen Grove, headmistress of Wakefield Country Day School in Flint Hill, Va. that Edwards had made sexual advances toward her.
“I am so proud of her for stepping forward,” Grove said, “that took a lot of courage and I am so glad that she felt like she could come to me with this.”
Grove contacted the Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Department with the information.
