Evelyn Auker Yates, 90, of Madison died April 10 in Newport News, Va.
Mrs. Yates was bom Nov. 16, 1914 in Clotho, MN., daughter of the late Jacob Charles Auker and Sadye Fox Auker.
Mrs. Yates was survived by two daughters, Lois Yates Giltinan and husband, David of Yorktown, Va. and Janet Yates Ford and husband, Tony of Madison, one step son, William Hudson Yates Sr. and wife Sue of Roanoke, VA.
Additional survivors include two step granddaughters, two step grandsons and eight step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Lee Yates of SperryviUe, two brothers, Harold and Paul Auker, one sister, Ruth Gillespie, one stepdaughter, Eleanor Curry, one step-grandson, Paul Schueler, and one step-granddaughter.
A funeral service was held April 14 at the Robinson River
