Milt Herd of WW & Associates of Charlottesville reported to council that his firm has completed surveying of the town and will be prepared to present a proposal on the town’s proposed wastewater treatment facility within 30 days.
Herd also updated council members on the redesign of its water reservoir, saying that the pre-final drawings would be ready within one week and he expected to receive bids for doing the work within 30 days.
Town clerk, Laura Dodd, presented council with a proposal from Country Water in preparation to put an additional well online for the town’s water supply.
According to Dodd, Country Water has advised her that the cost has increased from its initial quote of $4,233.
