Rappahannock artist Sara Schneidman will be giving a short talk entitled A Contemporary Artist’s Approach to Rug Design at the Textile Museum in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, April 23 at 10:30 a.m. She will be discussing cultural and symbolic influences of her work as part of the Museum’s series of Rug & Textile Appreciation Mornings. WCDS Book Fair
Summer required reading titles, new releases and classics, and wonderful gift books for preschool through 12th grade readers will be available at the Book Fair to be held at Wakefield Country Day School Tuesday, April 26 through Friday, April 29 each day from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and also from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 29.
