Since 911 many charitable organizations have found themselves creating new ways to secure funds for the needs of communities and research. The American Cancer Society is one that finds itself in that position. In their endeavor to maintain funding and provide the same quality services, they have chosen to streamline their fundraising process and unfortunately have cut back on staff.
In 2004, cancer statistically beat out heart disease as the number one deadliest disease that kills more people than any other disease. Now, more than ever funds to support this cause are needed.
