Mail Order Buyer The Plow & Hearth Inventory Control Department is seeking an experienced Buyer for our mail order division. The requirements and responsibilities for the ideal candidate may include but are not limited to: Requirements: • Previous experience in purchasing and inventory control required, preferably in a mail order environment. . • Experience in importing. • Proficient in MS Office applications. • Experience with inventory & vendor management and purchasing software. • Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced and chang: 3 work place. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Solid nego ling skills. Responsibilities: • Will purchase and manage inventory and vendors for selected categories of merchandise. • Create forecasts, make buying decisions, and Create reports using multiple daia sources and custom programs. • Manage and develop vendor, carrier, and internal customer relationships in a positive team atmosphere.
