award for the first Rappahannock finishers went to former RCHS track star Charlie Thomas of Sperryville in the men’s division and Mary O’Meara of Sperryville in the women’s division. The first woman to complete the course was Katy Judd with a time oi 47:34. Judd clipped 14 seconds off her winning time in last year’s Fodderstack Classic in repeating her victory.
June Jordan carried the first load of newspapers to the recycling center's new location on the Washington Volunteer Fire Department’s carnival grounds this week. From paper and aluminum collected over the last 18 months, Jordan has raised over $600 for the Fire Department.
