Washington’s Tbwn Council met on April 13, unanimously appointing a new member to the town’s Planning Commission. Mary Ann Kuhn, of Washington, will begin her term immediately, filling a vacancy on the commission, with her term expiring on June 30,2006.

Re-appointments were also made for the Planning Commission, beginning with the chairman, Gary Schwartz whose term was scheduled to expire on May 1. Schwartz’s reappointment extends his term until May 1, 2009.

Two additional members, Mitzie Young and Jean Goodine, had been functioning on the commission with terms that had already expired. Young's term ended October 1, 2003 and Goodine’s expired October 1, 2004.

Thus, Town Council reappointed both members, extending Young’s term to October 1, 2007 and Goodine’s until October 1, 2008.

Remaining member, Robert Ballard’s term is not scheduled to expire until January 9, 2006.
