RCCA welcomes assistance in compiling a private list of willing tax credit buyers who would make possible voluntary easement protection
Rappahannock landowners have already voluntarily donated conservation easements that protect 20,646 acres here — more than 15% of all privately-owned land in the county. Assurance of local funding dedicated to purchase Virginia land preservation tax credits HERE could be a major factor in future voluntary landowner action to assure that Rappahannock does not reenact the landscape destruction increasingly evident in nearby jurisdictions.
