The girls’ javee softball team for Rappahannock County High School are on a roll, currently leading the Bull Run District, 6-0.
On Friday, the Panthers hosted Clarke County, defeating the Eagles in a 6-1 outing.
Rapp’s Amanda Smoot has secured the victory in the pitcher’s circle for nine of the team’s overall 12 wins, also claiming the win in the Clarke County game.
Not only is Smoot a key offensively, but she contributed two runs in Friday’s outing.
Also scoring for the Panthers, each with one run, were Morgan Stephens, Ella Miller, Jessica Lee and Kim Hutcheson.
