Lt.Col. Salmon was employed as an Electronic Warfare Analyst at Autometrics, Inc. in Alexandria, VA. He was also employed in an agricultural advisory position with Fauquier County, Virginia.
In addition, he was a qualified Web Master. He designed and published the annual Rappahannock County public and commercial advertising directory- ryLt.
Col. Salmon is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia Woodroof, one son Timothy Bur, both of Flin+ Hill, a son Stuart Christopher of Charlottesville, a daughter Deirdre Salmon Hays of Leesburg, one brother Michael Salmon of Fairfax and two grandchildren.
A viewing was held at the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal on Sunday, May 8. Interment was at the family farm in Flint Hill, Monday, May 9 at 1 p.m. and was officiated by * the Rev. Jennings Hobson.

Kathy Jane Jenkins, 42', of Berryville, Va. died on May 6 at Winchester Medical Center.
She was bom January 30, 1963 to James E. Jenkins and the late Allie Agnes Jenkins of Charles Tbwn, W.Va,
Mrs. Jenkins was a machine operator at Burch Manufacturing in Summit Point, W.Va.
She is survived by her husband, James Clayton Jenkins, a son, Jamie James Jenkins both of Benyville, Va.
