Simpson said she has seen young girls who seem to be physically maturing quickly, presumably from the steroids that are injected in foods.
“Girls are physically mature before they are allowed to cross the street anymore,” Simpson laughed.
The owner is always looking for foods that have no added hormones, steroids, growth stimulants and have been raised humanely.
Other items at Food For Thought include pastas, sauces, salsa, lavender honey and handmade soaps with scents of herbs and flowers.
