Charlottesville artist Jeannine Barton Regan will be exhibiting her textural watercolors at R. H. Ballard Art, Rug & Home, in Washington, VA, from May 14th through June 5th. An opening reception for the artist will take place at the gallery from 4 - 7:30 p.m. on May 14th. All are welcome.
The exhibition is titled “Texture & Light” and refers to the artist’s dedication to the play of light and texture in her images of landscapes, still life’s and figures. Regan uses a unique technique of painting with watercolor on gessoed paper and clay board, building layers of texture,
