Sharon Maria Atkins, 56 of AmissviUe died on May 7, at her residence.
She was bom March 28, 1949 a daughter of the late Willie Jenkins and Maiy B. Leonard Jenkins.
Mrs. Atkins was retired as an office manager at the commissary at Vint Hill Farms Station. She then worked part-time for the Treasurer’s Office of Rappahannock County as well as in the business office of the Lord Fairfax Community College in Warrenton. She was a member' of Manassas Assembly of God.
She is survived by her husband, Levi J. Atkins, Jr.; one brother, George Jenkins, Myrtle Beach, SC; two sisters, Patricia Reid, Warrenton and Betty Irwin of St. Petersburg, FL; a special niece who lovingly cared for her during her illness Patty Pelkey, of Orange, and several other nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 10 at Fellowship Assembly of God Church, Washington, with Rev. Vernon DeLong, Rev. Liz Danielson and Rev. Joel Cress officiating. Interment followed in Washington Masonic Cemetery.

Oscar Bror Lindgren, 80, died on May 3,2005 at 9:00 p.m. with his devoted wife Ylva at his side. He is survived by his wife and four children: Ann-Caroline Boram, Ann-Charlotte Robinson, Claes Nordin, and Carl Lindgren, and four grandchildren: Erica, Nicky, Bobby, and William.
Oscar Bror Lindgren was bom on March 10, 1921 in Halsingborg, Sweden.
Son of amusement park owners Johan and Ellen Lindgren, he became a theatrical producer and started the Alleteatem, Stockholm’s first theater dedicated to comedy.
The Oscar Lindgren Stupendium continues to this day to grant financial aid awards to Stockholm’s most promising young actors. He moved his family from Sweden in 1960 and settled in Washington where he invested in and developed a large land holding in the beautiful, as-yet-undiscovered real estate of Rappahannock County.
