For Amissville builder Steve Ellis, overseeing the building of a house is quite normal. What is not normal for him is to have someone else watching every move he and his crew make — and recording it on film.
That is exactly what has been happening this past week on Aaron Mountain as the “DoIt-Yourself Network” has been filming the construction of a new home being built for Greg and Lucy Rushford.
“It’s not easy working with all the cameras and all,” Ellis laughed, “they get you to do things over again so they can get a better shot with the camera or tell you to do things quietly.” '
