School Board Association Art Contest were recognized and received a certificate at the meeting. Winners were fifth grader Caitlin Humbles, sixth grader Ashley Callaway, and eleventh grader Forrest' Marquisee.

During the public comment period, seventh grade teacher Holly Massie thanked the board for their support of the annual seventh grade trip to Williamsburg. She also reported that because only 63 out of 84 students attended the trip this year its length will be shortened by one day next year and will now be three days instead of four.

Trista Sheuerlein, Coordinator for the Farm Tb Table Program at the high school took a moment to invite the entire School Board to tour the gardens and acquaint themselves with the students and the work they have been doing over the school year.
