Lambert Orkis is principal keyboardist of the National Symphony Orchestra. Among the activities for which he has achieved international renown are his performances as a chamber musician and for his recordings, which have received multiple Grammy Award nominations. For over fourteen years, the celebrated duo of pianist Lambert Orkis and violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter have appeared to capacity audiences throughout the world. Their recordings for Deutsche Grammophon include the Beethoven Sonatas for Piano and Violin, winner of a Grammy Award for Best Chamber Music Performance.
