Long-time Rappahannock resident Jim Blubaugh officially announced today that he will be a candidate for the 15th District seat in the Virginia House of Delegates. The District covers Page, Rappahannock, and - Shenandoah Counties, plus the Swift Run precinct of Rockingham County.

The 15th District is currently represented by Del. Allen L. Louderback, a resident of Page County. Del. Louderback has announced that he will not seek reelection.

“I am dedicated to the small town and country values that are reflected in our community, and I want to represent them in the State legislature,” Blubaugh stated, “As I visit the counties in the 15th District, listening to the people who live here, I see common values — strong families, love of the land, personal ethics and responsibility, neighbor helping neighbor.”
