Raney competes in the 100,400 and triple jump. Brown won the discus Tuesday with a toss of 71-9 feet. Ironically, she had never competed in that event. She also is an outstanding high jumper and long jumper.
Look for senior Victoria Hart to participate in the long jump and 100. Senior Rhonda Jackson and junior Hannah Besecker compete in the shot and discus.
Overall, Stephens likes what he sees from some athletes. But there is room for improvement.
