The honors brought back with their “superior” performance hopefully will encourage the community to contribute to the band’s goal of raiising $16,000 for much needed uniforms. The typicail life span for band uniforms is about ten years thus they are used for severed years aind many students benefit from them.
“We have received confirmation that a very generous donor has agreed to match - dollair for dollair up to $5000, funds reused to make up the final $10,000. That means that ever dollar reused above the initied $5,000 will be matched. This is wonderful news,” exclaimed band booster president Kathryn Treanor.
The band is neeuing its fundreusing goal. But they are still -short some $3,000 to meet the manufacturer’s April 1st deadline for ordering the uniforms for next year’s season.
The Band Boosters .welcome any contribution, leirge or small, to help meet this goal.
