The Rappahannock News has been running a
Panther Pride Band Meter on the front page for
several weeks.
You’ll note this week just how many musical notes there are and what a symphony they will play when the score is finished.
Roughly $3,000 is needed by April 1 so that the uniforms can be ordered. No joke.
There’s only two weeks left for you to take the opportunity of helping out. There’s a fellow in Flint Hill that I know who, now in his golden years, has come to know the pleasures of giving and has been known to expound about that philosophy in his own writings.
He’s actually garnered a following.
Hopefully, they’ve been spreading the word and in a few weeks we can celebrate the meter blowing its’ top off the front page.
