Jason Jenkins spent four years preparing, fine-tuning and auditioning for the bieeest role of his life.
And while those years could be fun yet stressful, the promise of a chance to pitch at the collegiate level is something that he would not ever change.
“It’s a trying time. Everything else takes a backseat,” said Jenkins, Rappahannock County High School’s senior left-handed pitcher/first baseman who just agreed to continue his baseball career at Christopher Newport University.
