Congressman ERIC CANTOR’s Community Outreach Director, Mrs. Barbara Taylor, will be available at the Rappahannock County Library, 4 Library Road, Washington on Thursday, May 11 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Congressman Cantor’s office is happy to provide this service to speak with constituents who need assistance or have problems of a Federal nature. Citizens are also welcome to express their opinions on matters of concern, particularly national topics or issues before the United States Congress. May 11: RRMRC Orientation and Training
The effects of the 2005 Hurricane Season are still being felt and the 2006 Hurricane season is scheduled to start May 1. Prepare to help out during hurricanes and public health emergencies by joining the Rappahannock-Rapidan Medical Reserve Corps (RRMRC). Register, complete your paperwork, attend one orientation and at least one of the 2-4 hour trainings and a drill per year. The next Training will be on Biologic Category A Agents from 6-7 pm presentedby Dr. Lilian Peake, Health Director. The Orientation will be from 7-8 pm. The training and orientation will take place at the Culpeper Rescue Squad, on N. Main St.
On May 11 an orientation will be held at the Culpeper County Health Dept from 10-11 am.
