ne rveverenas noDson and Mollink shared the pastoral duties at the three services on April 23 in a “passing of the torch”, as commented by Jenks. Reverend Mollink, in his homily on Sunday, outlined his series of messages to be brought to the Trinity congregation that will include “his passion” for us to “listen to God and pray to God to become intimate with God”. The Episcopal Church Women hosted a coffee after the 11 a.m. service to welcome the Mollinks. The Church Vestry entertained the couple at a dinner in their honor at the home of Noel and Charlotte Laing on Sunday evening.
Wendy brings special talents as she is an artist who derives inspiration from meditation and prayer and designs cross-stitch kits depicting animal and bird life in God’s beautiful world. Additionally she conducts bible studies and does counseling at St. Peter’s and assists in the “kitchen” for the homeless. Nigel was called to the priesthood at age 49 after a career in business. He is an avid golfer and fisherman. Both enjoy their seven grandchildren and anticipate the birth of the eighth upon their return to Johannesburg. The Mollinks continue a ministry
