WANDA LONG Wanda Lone knows how to make an impression. Many people in our community will recognize her from her years designing ana selling flower bouquets, but to Fauquier Hospital, dies much more than a florist. Sne’s an outstanding employee and a dedicated volunteer. Wanda began her volunteer service as a young girl ana has been enjoying the rewards ever since. In fact, it was her love of volunteering that first brought her to Fauquier Hospital Back in the early 1970's, she joined the Auxiliaiy to help with the Thrift Shop, and it was during this time a lasting bond was formed "I reel like Fauquier Hospital is a part of my family," Wanda says. "The people ate great and we reallycare about each other" Since coming on board as a financial counselor in 1999, Wanda has helped many people in our community, including our hospital patients and the free clinic patients. And Fauquier Hospital appreciates that Wanda nas continued her volunteering efforts by making beautiful flower arrangements for our hospital events. "Working with flowers is a real joy for me," Wanda says,^because it brings pleasure to so many people.
